To celebrate local history, in 1959, the Gold Nugget Days celebration was started and continues as an annual spring event. Featuring special activities at the Gold Nugget Museum and other Ridge locations including Breakfasts & BBQs, the Donkey Derby, Craft Faire, Skyway Parade, Contests, Carnival, Music, Magalia Bean Feed, and more!
