Theatre on the Ridge

The Theatre on the Ridge is the oldest non-profit community theater north of Sacramento. TOTR was founded in 1975 as an offshoot of a children's program administered by the Paradise Recreation and Park District. Originally producing one or two productions a year in the local gymnasium, TOTR expanded to its own location on Neal Road in September 1979.

The first season of regularly scheduled performances began in 1980 with four productions. Over the years the season has evolved to the production of six shows annually.

Dancing the Night Away!

The Melody Dance Club features ballroom dancing Sunday nights at the Veterans Memorial Hall at Skyway and Elliott. Information (530) 873-0469.

Square Dancing is popular and you'll find this fun and excitement provided by the Paradise Ridge Runners Square Dance Club on Tuesdays at the Paradise Ridge Senior Center, 877 Nunneley Road; Wednesday at the Terry Ashe Recreation Center, 6626 Skyway; and on Thursdays at the Memorial Hall, 6550 Skyway. The latter is also sponsored by the Cal Vets Square Dance Association which also sponsors dancing at the Veterans Hall on Wednesdays. Information (530) 872-5622.
